Anna Everest’s world is full of secrets. Why did she bully Gabby Waters at her old Christian elementary? Why is Anna’s mother so harshly critical? In the polarized America of 1967-1968, Anna finds herself plunged into the world of a new public junior high and questioning just about everything. Can Anna find out the truth and start standing up for herself?
